“Once you stop learning you start dying.” Albert-Einstein

What is learning?. Obviously, by definition, any intelligent life form ( not specifying humans because still there is no evidence that we are alone in this universe) would say

“Learning is the process of acquiring new understanding, knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, attitudes, and preferences.”

Which is accurate. but learning is not so simple where some people find it comes naturally to them me being one of them some people don’t. They find a gap or can’t find a way to progress as they thought in mind and slow down in between the way. The main problem with people who can’t learn doesn’t lie with the people who can’t learn it lies with what society has associated with learning the norms to the methods that are being advertised to being suggested. Rather than helping they make the case worse and a little bit of help goes a long way. So we will try to tackle some of these problems along the way and get you on the journey to learn.

DEDICATION:

As simple as the word sounds it is not that simple. Dedication whether it is towards a cause or a relation tends to go a long way. For now, we will stick to learning. Dedication to learning plays a role as many would say water plays for a fish. A wish lives in water, same as that your learning lives within dedication. To determine yourself towards learning something try to write down its pros and cons rather than just blindly diving into it and make yourself feel related to the thing you are about to do. Research if it holds a place in the future you are going to make for yourself. It would be silly if I am becoming an engineer and I am spending time learning about open-heart surgery out there on youtube. So channel your energy there where pros are more than cons.

Digital Detox

The next thing we are going to talk about is a digital detox. I would personally consider it easily one of the most important steps in your journey to improve your learning. Let’s say you have a device it starts malfunctioning you try to figure out the problem but really can’t find anything. You just can’t narrow down the problem no matter how much you try. In the end, you have a solution and final thing which is resetting the device to its state in which you bought it or let’s say got it to make it simple. Now same goes for your brain it’s the device that is malfunctioning and the problem is you can’t learn no matter how hard you try you just can’t focus. Try taking some time off from your digital distractions like Facebook, Snapchat, and messenger. And spend some time with family, and friends, trying out some board games and stuff. For a week you will feel a little bit of a sadistic digital withdrawal but in the end, it’s a digital mind reset for you and you can set a new routine according to your needs.

WORKPLACE

A workplace is generally a sacred place for everybody. Keep your workplace and resting place completely separated. Do not associate working with resting because once these two things bond together there is no coming back, unfortunately. You cannot rest and work in the same place. If you work and rest at the same place the moment you start working you are going to feel tired and restless automatically. To avoid it choose a comfy warm place. Now posture plays an important role in learning to sit in an upright lean position not half sitting and half lying on the bed. hold stiff posture throughout.

Join community

An important role in your learning journey would be to see other people do it. Join a community related to your passion and your line of work or what you want to do. See how other people do stuff. Ask them about their thought process behind the work. How did they manage to reach there what was their route or how to prepare themselves when they sit down to work. You might get a handsome amount of tips out of them. The guidance goes a long way. Never be afraid to ask for help

Ask for help

I cannot emphasize enough that never be afraid to ask for help. Always look out for people who are more experienced than you. Who knows how things work and ask them politely, As a great man once said politeness is the key to achieving greatness. Write down your questions and whenever you meet somebody experienced ask them.

Don’t Quit

And at last, don’t quit. You might be tempted to quit many times throughout because you will feel like you cannot figure it out. The problem is too overwhelming. It’s just a temporary feeling try to get off it rest for a bit and take some time to watch a movie. Treat yourself to some good food. Come back stronger and harder. If you still don’t feel like it talks to somebody a friend or family.

Conclusion

On an ending note have patience nothing will come before it’s meant to believe in GOD. Have faith and keep doing it stay true to it whats meant for you will reach you in the deepest of caves. And what’s not meant for will in any way reach you even if you are standing in front of it.
